RHT Capital Pte. Ltd. was engaged by SMJ International Holdings Ltd. (“Company”) to act as the Independent Financial Adviser to the Independent Directors in relation to the disposal of SMJ Furnishings (S) Pte Ltd (“Proposed Disposal”) as an interested person transaction.

The resolution in relation to the Proposed Disposal was duly approved and passed by the shareholders at the extraordinary general meeting (“EGM”) of the Company held on 26 December 2017.

Following the completion of the Proposed Disposal, the Company proposed to expand its existing property-related business to include the Proposed New Business Scope (as defined in the Company’s circular dated 8 December 2017 and approved by the shareholders at the aforementioned EGM).
